About Us

The Austin Tango Society is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, that strives to promote Argentine tango in Austin, to provide opportunities to learn and dance, and to build an open and generous tango community. The ATS is the proud to sponsor the Austin Spring Tango Festival, host the Austin Tango Calendar, and sponsors the local Guided Practica Program. You can learn more about us here.

Safe Spaces

The Austin Tango Society seeks to create safe spaces for all who want to learn, practice, and dance Argentine tango. Events hosted by the ATS support the safety and well-being of everyone in attendance regardless of ability, age, ethnicity, gender identity, politics, race, religion, role preference, or sexual preference.
